Week of 4/29

Hello families!

We took our first two MAP tests on Tuesday and Thursday last week and the kids did really well!  A lot of them have showed a lot of progress from Fall to Spring.  I am very proud of the hard work they put in and at how well they were able to focus when taking the test.

Remember, please discuss that these assessments are important for them to focus and take their time on and please make sure they get enough sleep and eat a good breakfast before they leave the house because we test first thing in the morning.  We will be testing this week on Tuesday and Thursday at the same time.  This week is the two math tests which are longer than the reading.  We allot an hour for these assessments instead of 30 minutes like the reading ones.  They will take two of those.  If they do need more than an hour for the assessments, they will be allowed to have that.

MAP Testing and Class Updates

Hi families!

This week we will begin doing our Spring MAP tests.  This week your child will be taking their Reading MAP tests.  They will have half an hour each day to take these tests.  Our testing times are Tuesday, April 23 from 8:10-8:40 and Thursday, April 25 from 8:10-8:40.  I hope you were able to enjoy the websites with your child at home to help them prepare for the MAP tests.

Tuesday, April 23- MAP Reading 1
Thursday, April 25- MAP Reading 2
Tuesday, April 30- MAP Math 1
Thursday, May 2- MAP Math 2
